Ashley Mateus, PhD
VP Strategy & Ops
Ashley is passionate about bringing innovative technologies to the medical community. She has been working with devices to improve human health for 10 years, from pacemaker leads to oncology diagnostics. She completed her Ph.D. in Medical Engineering in the Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology (HST) program. Her thesis research involved quantitative and qualitative techniques to create and evaluate national performance measures for the Veterans Health Administration’s teledermatology program. During her academic career Ashley was awarded fellowships from the Whitaker International Program, the Center for the Integration of Medicine and Innovative Technology (CIMIT), MIT, and HST. Ashley received her Masters in Bioscience Enterprise from the University of Cambridge and a B.S. in Engineering Mechanics from the University of Illinois.
